Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2024
Currently the head coach and General Manager of the Acadie–Bathurst Titan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gordie Dwyer saw action in 103 NHL games spread between three different clubs. From his time in Montreal, we have a Canadiens jersey worn by Dwyer in 2002-03. A size “56” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest over the back neckline and NHL crest to the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “32” appears over the sleeves and verso in tri-colour tackle twill, with “Dwyer” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. The fight strap has also been knotted-up. Game-wear includes just a few dark marks to the front and sleeves. A patch from MeiGray numbered “A02050” sits over the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White 2nd Regular Season" specimen.
