Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

The “Iron Man” of NHL goaltenders, Glenn Hall’s impressive record of 502 consecutive games started will surely never be broken. We have a signed stick used by the HOFer during the twilight of his career with St. Louis in the late-1960s. A Northland Glass Fused Pro model, “Hall” appears on the upper shaft along with supplier stamps from Giesler-Jorgen Sptg. Gds in St. Louis, with “1” handwritten in marker near the top. The original tape is present over the blade and paddle, with white tape over the knob. Moderate use is exhibited on the important lumber, with wear to the underside of the blade along with marks to the front side of the paddle. Glenn has signed on the upper shaft in marker, adding, “To Champ”.
We should note a few cracks are visible along the toe section, running down the blade for an undetermined length, and despite these, the stick remains complete and extremely solid.
