Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Just the second Toronto Maple Leaf in history to register 50 goals or more in a single season, Gary Leeman spent the majority of his career in Ontario, and later won a Stanley Cup championship with Montreal in 1993. From the championship season of 1992-93, we have a Canadiens jersey that was issued to the Toronto native. Maska and size “56” labels are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “26” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Leeman” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The 1993 All-Star Game crest also resides just above the right breast. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in gorgeous new condition. An LOA from the Montreal Canadiens will accompany.
