Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
First representing Canada as a teenager at the 1991 IIHF World Junior Championships in Saskatchewan, Felix Potvin would again don the mighty maple leaf at the 1998 IIHF World Championships, where he backstopped his nation in four contests. This Team Canada jersey was worn by Potvin at the tournament. A Bauer Pro label with “58G” size tag are affixed to the collar, with an IIHF “90th Anniversary” patch just above the left breast. Styled with the familiar Hockey Canada team crest with embroidered detailing, “29” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with sponsorship patches over each shoulder. Exhibiting great game-use with marks over the front and sleeves, there is pilling in spots including along the collar and over the bottom front, with sweat staining to the collar as well. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Felix Potvin will accompany.
