Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
With Felix the Cat patrolling the crease, the Maple Leafs made it to consecutive conference finals against L.A. and Vancouver in the mid-1990s. Potvin had a total of four shutouts and 20 wins in the Leafs’ 1993 and 1994 playoff runs, and represented Toronto in the NHL All-Star Game in 1994 and 1996. This lot of three of Felix Potvin’s Maple Leafs game-worn items features his circa 1993-94 Koho trapper glove, and his 1995-96 Koho Revolution blocker glove, which is photo-matched by Getty Images photo #833533044 to the biggest black mark midway up the white portion on the outside edge. Also included are Potvin’s 1990s Maple Leafs white CCM goalie skates with “90/180” handwritten under them.
Note that Potvin’s gloves are not a match set.
