Goaltender Ernie Wakely had a 20-year pro career that included 113 NHL games and 334 in the WHA from 1962-79. Wakely, who played in the 1971 NHL All-Star Game, made his first of two All-Star appearances in the rebel league in the 1974 WHA All-Star Game in St. Paul, Minn. His Western Division All-Stars game-worn jersey is a white mesh affair with Gerry Cosby size 52 tagging in the back of the neck. The WHA crest and accents are all screened-on, while No. 1 on the back and both sleeves is sewn-on two-tone tackle twill and Ernie's surname is sewn onto the back shoulders in individually-applied blue tackle-twill letters. Desirable WHA All-Star single-use gamer has light staining on the front and rear hems.
