Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/24/2024
One of the most anticipated careers in history, Eric Lindros spent time with the Canadian National Team in 1988-89, 1989-90 and 1991-92 before making his NHL debut in 1992-93, and we offer a signed stick used by the kid dubbed “The Next One” as a member of Team Canada at the 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Albertville, France, where Lindros would register 11 points in 8 games, helping Canada to a silver medal. A Titan ASD 6000 model with “Lindros” factory graphics to the upper shaft, the stick retains its original tape job of blue cloth over the shaved handle, with the blade tape removed. Exhibiting good game-use with wear and marks to the finish on the lower and mid-shaft especially along edges, there is also a large chip to the lower shaft with a bit of material loss. Lindros has signed the blade with a thin silver ink signature at the heel and has added an annotation reading “HOF 16 Game Used Team Canada". Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Eric Lindros will accompany.
