Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/24/2024
With both Philadelphia and New York vying for his services after it became clear he would never see a single game as a member of the Quebec Nordiques, Eric Lindros made his NHL debut for the Flyers in 1992-93 and did not disappoint, scoring 75 points in 61 games during his rookie campaign. Offered here, we have a stick used by “The Big E” during his rookie season in the “City of Brotherly Love”. A Titan ASD 6000 model with “Lindros” stamped to the mid shaft, the original red tape job is in place over the shaved handle with white over the blade. Lindros’ silver ink signature with annotation in matching ink reading “HOF 16 Game Used Rookie Season" has been placed over the lower shaft at the heel. Showing great game-use, the blade shows wear to the underside and taped section, with a few tears to the tape and some marks and red paint transfer. There is some wear to the shaft including a chip to the wood on the lower part. There is also tape residue from the stick previously being bundled with others. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Eric Lindros will accompany.
