Captivating keepsake commemorating the 1952-53 Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup was presented to team captain Emile "Butch" Bouchard. The joyous Montreal Forum celebration was immortalized by a photo of Maurice Richard embracing Elmer Lach, who scored the Cup winner in overtime to earn a ride on the shoulders of Butch and the Rocket. The brilliant silver plated copper bowl resembling Lord Stanley's original trophy is engraved "National Hockey League Stanley Cup Winners - Season 1952-53" on one side and "Club De Hockey Canadien Inc. – Captain Emile "Butch" Bouchard" on the other. The trophy stands 5 1/2" tall and measures 8 3/4" in diameter across the mouth of the bowl. "Sheffield Reproduction", for the pattern/model, and "S.P. Copper" are stamped beneath the base. Beautifully preserved, it comes with its original flower pot grill. Comes with Butch Bouchard's signed LOA.
