Fresh off a Stanley Cup victory in 1999, the Dallas Stars enjoyed a second trip to Lord Stanley’s final in 2000. This season was also memorable as Stars “star” Brett Hull notched his 600th career goal, and net stalwart Ed Belfour managed a remarkable 2.10 GAA. This Clarence Campbell bowl was awarded to Ed Belfour for the Stars status as Western Conference Champions. Standing 11” in height, a miniature plated Campbell trophy with removable lid sits atop a 3” two-tone finished hexagonal wooden base. From Ed Belfour’s personal collection, a signed LOA from Ed will accompany this gorgeous Clarence Campbell Championship trophy.
With chased features on the lid and bottom, engraved text proclaims “Ed Belfour Dallas Stars 1999-2000”, while the back has “Clarence S. Campbell Bowl 1968”. In beautiful condition, the trophy exhibits tarnishing that could be cleaned, but it displays extremely well as is with a rich dark patina. A sticker from NHL trophy maker Boffey sits affixed on the bottom felt.
