Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
Representing the AHL and QJHL, we have game-worn jerseys from the 1990’s for the Cape Breton Oilers and Montreal Junior Canadiens respectively. The circa 1991-92 Oilers jersey has been attributed to Steven Rice, with evidence of a former nameplate. Maska Air-Knit tagging is affixed to the collar, with handwritten “12” on the tag’s front, and “94/95” on reverse. Featuring an embroidered CCM patch on the back bottom hem along with tackle twill numbers and heat-pressed name-on-nameplate, the jersey exhibits nice wear. Random dark marks are present on the lower front and both sleeves, along with board burns with small resulting holes on the left sleeve. The Junior Canadiens jersey has Maska Ultrafil and size tagging in collar, along with handwritten “20”. With an embroidered CCM patch on the back bottom hem, the jersey currently void of a nameplate will come with a loose “D’Anjou” example. Game-wear includes a few random dark marks on the front and over the right sleeve’s number, along with heavy board burns on the right sleeve.
