A second round draft pick by Detroit in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, Doug Houda would see action with the club in parts of half a dozen seasons and is now currently an assistant coach in the Motor City. This Red Wings jersey was worn by the Blairmore Alberta native in 1998-99. With Center Ice and Nike size tagging affixed to the collar, there are also embroidered Nike and NHL crests on the bottom hem. Accented with tackle twill numbers and letters, this garment has the back name sewn directly onto the jersey. The team stamp sits on the inside hem denoting the garment as a "1st Set" example. Game-wear is light on the jersey, with just a few random marks present.
