Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2023

The fastest player in NHL history to score 20 goals in a season, Dino Ciccarelli concluded his HOF career with exactly 1,200 points, which ranks 50th all-time. Reaching the 400th goal milestone during the 1990-91 season with Washington, Ciccarelli netted the marker in the third period at 5:05 to draw the Capitals within one of the Vancouver Canucks, with Kevin Hatcher assisting. Washington would eventually emerge as winners, outscoring the Canucks at home 5-3. This is the stick Ciccarelli scored his 400th goal with. A Canadien model with the shaft whited-out, the original white tape remains on the blade and shaved handle, with the stick showing game-use with dark marks to both the front and reverse blade. There is also some staining to the tape. "Feb/5/91 #400th Goal" is handwritten in black marker, with this slightly bleeding into the tape. Milestone goal sticks are rarely offered in the hobby, especially from such a prestigious career. Hailing from the Dino Ciccarelli personal collection, a signed LOA from Dino Ciccarelli will accompany.
