Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
Serving as the home of the Chicago Black Hawks beginning with the club’s fourth season in 1929-30, Chicago Stadium featured big league hockey for over 60 years, with the hallowed arena demolished early in 1995. Originally culled from the historic venue’s lower bowl, we have a single red cushioned Chicago Stadium seat signed by iconic Madhouse resident Bobby Hull, along with a Black Hawks Alumni Wilson golf bag also signed by Hull, and an engraved Lassale alumni watch. At approx 36” in height and sporting the original number “4” along the underside of the seat, the fabric-backed seat and back rest along with the metal hardware is all in solid red, with a custom red metal base to allow free standing. Hull has signed the seat back in silver, adding "The Golden Jet", with his especially large signature displaying beautifully. There is some minor wear ot the seat, with a gold plaque on the base with "Chicago Stadium 1929-49" stamped (this is an error, instead of "49" it should be "94"). The high quality Wilson golf bag is in new condition and it has a Black Hawks logo with "Alumni", with Hull signing in silver and adding a phrase. The watch features a sleek design with gold coloured band and "MVP Celebrity All-Stars vs Blackhawks Alumni Sept 17, 1999 Bobby Hull" engraved to the reverse. COAs will accompany for the signatures on the seat and golf bag.
