Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Forever part of hockey lore due to the career-ending hit received at the hands of legendary bruiser Eddie Shore, Ace Bailey spent 8 seasons representing the mighty maple leaf, with the distinction of being the first player in history to have his number retired. We have a wonderful collection of 5 signed Ace Bailey photos. Identical 8” x 10” black and white images, each picture Bailey in a wonderful full-uniform pose, with Ace signing each photo to the right of his image in blue sharpie. With no issues for the signatures, each photo exhibits light wear, with one example sporting a few moisture marks. An honoured member of the HHOF with enshrinement occurring in 1975, Bailey passed seventeen years later, in 1992.
