Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

Referred to affectionately as “Ducky”, Dale Hawerchuk quickly exhibited his talent winning the Calder Trophy as the league’s top rookie in 1982. The Toronto native was also the first player to appear in 1000 games before his 31st birthday. We have a Winnipeg Jets captain’s jersey worn by the HOFer in 1986-87, his sixth season with the club. Maska Air-Knit labeling sits along the collar, with a CCM crest over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a Jets team crest that feature’s embroidered detailing, the V-neck sweater has been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with “Hawerchuk” embroidered onto the affixed nameplate. An icon in the city of Winnipeg, any and all Hawerchuk Jets material is highly sought after. An LOA will accompany.
A number of stick and puck marks are visible along the front and reverse, with additional examples over each custom-shortened sleeve. There is also heavy pilling to the interior on the lower front and over each elbow.
