An appreciated Minnesota North Star his entire NHL career, Craig Hartsburg played in the 1981 and 1987 Canada Cups, teaming with the likes of Larry Robinson, Denis Potvin, Ray Bourque, Barry Beck, Brian Engblom and Paul Reinhart along the blueline in the ’81 tournament. This Team Canada jersey was worn by Hartsburg at the 1981 Canada Cup, and it originates from the personal collection of longtime agent and promoter Alan Eagleson. Size “50” is added in ballpoint to the Sandow company tag in the neck while “Sandow SK” is screened to the rear hem. The logos, number “4”s on the reverse and sleeves and “Hartsburg” across the back (no nameplate) are also screened-on. With a loop-style fight strap, the jersey shows light game use with a few scrapes and light black marks in the half maple leaf logo on the front. Hartsburg was in uniform for all seven of Canada’s games, hitting the scoresheet once with an assist, while compiling a +5 rating with 12 shots on goal.
