Suiting up for the Minnesota North Stars for the entirety of this 570 game NHL career after the club selected him 6th overall at the 1979 NHL Entry Draft, Craig Hartsburg would help the club to an appearance in the 1981 Stanley Cup Finals against the New York Islanders. Registering a total of 413 points in his career and representing his native Canada on numerous occasions, offered here is this jersey worn by Hartsburg as a member of the Guelph Biltmores in 1974-75 when they reached the Centennial Cup Finals to determine a National Junior "A" hockey champion in Canada. Registering thirty (30) points (7 goals and 23 assists) in twenty-five (25) games played during his first and only SOJHL (Southern Ontario Junior A Hockey League), the heavy weight durene knit garment made by Tease Knitting Company sports the company's label affixed to the inner collar with the jersey itself measuring out to roughly a size "44". Decorated over the front with a rubberized Bilmore Mad Hatters team crest, the sleeves and verso of the jersey have had Hartsburg's number "4" sewn to them in dual layer red-over-black tackle twill numerals while matching twill with sublimated graphics alternate logo patches have been placed over both shoulders. Exhibiting excellent game-use and signs of age throughout, team repairs totalling out to four (4) are seen over the right sleeve and front while stick marks as well as board burns/scrapes are dotted over the front, reverse and both sleeves. Also sporting numerous holes in both sleeves, lower front and reverse plus pilling on the interior, the jersey also shows a few spots of red colour bleed, spot staining throughout, due transfer from rubbing against equipment, sweat staining/toning, wear to the graphics of the shoulder patches and other residue over the front, Hartsburg has signed over the lower reverse with a black marker ink signature that displays without issue despite some fading from age.
