This Roger Crozier-style Fibrosport game-worn goalie mask from the early-to-mid-1970s is attributed to the Buffalo Sabres. It was originally purchased by our consignor as a Crozier mask, but research has shown otherwise. This mask is a genuine custom-made Fibrosport mask worn by a goalie in the Buffalo organization from a batch of masks made for the Sabres. It shares a unique feature about Crozier’s Fibrosport mask that is not seen on other Fibrosports masks, the two holes so close together over the nose area. This vintage fiberglass creation measures 10 1/2" x 8” and has canvas and leather straps but no interior padding. A cool find that evokes the look of the first great Sabres goalie!
