Enjoying a lengthy hockey career that started with four seasons at the University of Minnesota and culminated in a Stanley Cup championship with New Jersey in 1995, Chris McAlpine appeared for six different NHL clubs during his tenure, with a final season played in the AHL, in 2004-05. We have a Golden Gophers jersey worn by the Roseville native during the early-1990s. Steichens and Maska labels are affixed to the collar along with a size “52” fly tag, with a WCHA crest over the left breast. Styled with the school’s trademark large “M” over the chest in layered white and gold tackle twill, “4” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with the nameplate removed. Game wear consists of marks over the front, team crest and sleeves, with heavy board burns with small resulting holes over each sleeve. There is also red paint transfer along with scuff marks over each sleeve, with a team repair on the upper right sleeve and pilling to the interior.
