Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
Earning his seventh and most recent All-Star selection in 2019, Carey Price played in just 30 games over his last two seasons with Montreal, which an additional 22 playoff matches in 2020-21 while helping to lead the Habs to the Stanley Cup final. Originating from his personal collection, we have a signed blocker and glove combo, with the blocker most likely used by Price during training camp/practice or even possibly in an NHL game. Solid white CCM Lefevre "Extreme Flex 4" models, "Price" is embroidered to each, with Kay Whitmore initials on both items as acting goaltending supervisor for the NHL. Getty Images #1227738412 (July 22, 2020 training camp) and #1190909818 (Dec 29, 2019 vs Florida regular season) both show Price using the exact same type of model blocker. The blocker shows just very light use with a few dark marks, while the glove appears unused. Price has signed each with a nice blue marker signature. Holograms from Frameworth are affixed to each, with a Classic Auction LOA to accompany along with Frameworth COAs.
