Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A rare opportunity, Classic Auctions is pleased to announce yet another partnership with the historic Montreal Canadiens franchise, one that will bring to auction a large and impressive bounty of jerseys fresh from the vast and seldom offered holdings of the storied hockey club. Examples are present from 2006-07 to 2014-15, with both important game-issued and game-worn jerseys offered, with a direct line from the actual player and the Canadiens franchise – to you, our loyal bidders. Each desirable jersey has inventory numbers from the Canadiens, with each to be accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Canadiens letterhead.
Featuring the past winner of the Vezina, Hart, William Jennings and Ted Lindsay awards, Carey Price is considered one of the best goaltenders in the game today, and he’s currently in his 12th season with Montreal. We have a Canadiens jersey that was issued to Price for the 2010-11 NHL playoffs. A size “56” CCM label is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the famous CH team crest partially-embroidered, the playoffs-issued V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Price” across the nameplate in single blue twill. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. The team patch (A02253) sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GU11397” affixed to the reverse “1” matches the LOA from the Canadiens.
