Featuring the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League, we have a ring and money clip that originate from the personal collection of longtime Montreal personality Camil Desroches, along with a lighter and crest from the eastern American league. The crest is in the league’s colours of blue and red, with a shield logo and hockey stick. At roughly 5” from top to bottom, the crest exhibits toning, and will be accompanied by a vintage envelope from the Montreal Canadiens. The lighter is by Zenith, and it features the leagues’ logo added, with moderate wear from use present. The money clip also has the emblem added, and it exhibits wear with scratches present. Lastly, the ring features the league’s emblem across the face in full colour, with the back stamped “10” and “Sterling”. The ring exhibits heavy wear to the band, with discolouration. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
The MJHL was the brainstorm of Rangers GM Emile Francis in 1966, with the league including teams such as the Philadelphia Junior Flyers, Connecticut Nighthawks, Hudson Valley Eagles, Vermont Lumberjacks and New Jersey Rockets.
