Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
The inaugural installment of the hugely popular World Cup of Hockey, the 1996 tournament witnessed an impressive performance from the Americans, winning the tournament on the strength of Brett Hull’s scoring prowess, with the superstar leading the event in scoring. We have a Team USA practice jersey that was worn by the HOFer, and it originates from his personal collection. Nike labeling along with a size “56” fly tag remain affixed to the collar, with a large Nike swoosh logo heat-pressed onto the back bottom hem. Styled with a Team USA logo over the chest, “15” appears on verso in matching heat-pressed material. A few marks are present along with wear to the team crest, with some light paint transfer over each sleeve. An LOA from Brett Hull will accompany.
