Just another season at the office for the Golden Brett as 1996-97 saw the sniper tally 42 goals and add 42 assists in 77 games with the St. Louis Blues, Brett’s second to last year in St. Louis before moving on to the Dallas Stars. We’ve got Mr. Hull’s game-worn jersey from that ’96-97 campaign, tagged in the collar with “Center Ice” and “Starter” patches, along with a “B. Hull” swatch below and a nearby handwritten “L”. This gamer is living proof that Brett got his nose dirty in game action, with plenty of marks on the front, back and sleeves, and including board burns along with a couple of small holes on the right sleeve. On the left breast is the alternate captain's "A" sewn on, while on the inside, the fight strap has been cut, and the hem displays “Lettering by Custom Crafted" and “Official St. Louis Blues 2nd Set 1996-97 Season” stamps with an handwritten number 6 in the Blues logo. A glorious jersey from an excellent Brett Hull season, one that began with 485 goals for Brett and which saw him score his 500th on December 22nd, 1996. Comes with an LOA from the man himself.
