With Brett Hull teamed up with Wayne Gretzky, the 1995-96 St. Louis Blues came within a hair of reaching the Western Conference final. The Golden Brett’s Blues game-worn alternate captain’s jersey is a home gamer he wore during the 1996 playoffs when St. Louis took out Toronto in six games before a heartbreaking seven-game loss to Detroit on Steve Yzerman’s double OT goal. Hull contributed six goals and 11 points in the playoffs. Size 52 flag tag sits in the back of the neck of Hull’s playoff game-worn jersey with a cut fight strap. Custom Crafted Blues Playoff Set 1995-96 Season team stamp sits inside the rear tail along with a white rubberized square with a handwritten “23” in black. Game wear includes black marks on the back of the left sleeve and board burns with a burn hole on the right elbow. Comes with Brett Hull’s signed LOA.
The nameplate has yellowed but is original to this playoff game-worn jersey.
