Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017

HOF right wing Brett Hull recorded his 481st goal with this Easton stick on March 15, 1996. The Golden Brett took three big strides closer to joining the 500-Goal Club when he scored a hat trick in St. Louis’ 4-2 win in San Jose late in the 1995-96 season. The Golden Brett used this two-piece gamer to score into an empty net and complete his 25th career hat trick and a four-point game with 35 seconds remaining. “481” is handwritten on a piece of white hockey tape affixed to the back of the lower part of the back of Hull’s Easton Pro Gold 95 aluminum, which retains his original white tape job on the knob with a gauze wrap at the top. Comes with Brett Hull's signed LOA.
Brett’s black bulldog tape job remains on his Christian Puck Master wood blade insert, which has a faint “Hull” stamp. Game use shows in red goalpost paint transfer on the tape jobs on the blade and on the knob.
