A product of the OMJHL's London Knights who was drafted by the Atlanta Flames 11th overall at the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft, Brad Marsh would go on to a lengthy 1086 games played National Hockey League career that saw him suit up for the likes of the Flames (Atlanta and Calgary), Flyers, Maple Leafs, Red Wings and Senators while also representing Canada internationally at both the World Junior Championships and World Championships. Experiencing his first (and only) full season as a member of the Detroit Red Wings in 1991-92, offered here is this "TBTC" style jersey worn by him in select games during the year. An Ultrafil material garment made by CCM, heavy sewn over Maska and size "52" tags have been affixed to the inner collar along with an EastSide Sports label while the reverse hem has both the CCM and NHL shield logos embroidered into it. Based on the uniforms worn by Detroit when they were known as the Cougars in 1927-28, "Detroit" is spelt out across the chest of the white and red striped jersey while the NHL's 75 anniversary patch, worn by all the league's teams throughout the season, has been added over the right breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Marsh's number "20" in either single or dual layer tackle twill numerals, "Marsh" is spelt out in dual layer white-over-red tackle twill letters that have been sewn down directly to the material of the jersey at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks are present over the front, reverse and both sleeves of the piece while a couple of light board burns grace the left sleeve as well. Also showing some spot staining throughout the front and both sleeves, a few fabric snags are observed at the lower front while light pilling is present on the interior along with some salting of the fight strap.
