The third oldest active team in the National Hockey League and the oldest in the United States of America, the Boston Bruins have been a staple of Beantown winters since the 1924-25 season and have won a total of six (6) Stanley Cups in their storied one hundred plus (100+) year history. Offered here, we present this lot made up entirety of Bruins memorabilia. Including numerous items, present is a team-set of 1970-71 player photos. All measuring 6" x 8" and full colour headshot images with "Stanley Cup Champions 1970" spelt out over the top border, the set features eighteen (18) photographs that are all in an overall excellent condition with just light corner and edge wear along with some marks over the reverse while including key players such as Phil Esposito, Johnny Bucyk, Gerry Cheevers and Bobby Orr. For the rest of the lot, including ten (10) plastic cups from Papa Gino's Restaurant that display individual headshot artwork images of names such as Orr, Esposito, Bucyk and others, there are two (2) different variations of Orr and all the cups included show various amount of wear including some yellowing and wear/scratching to the graphics. Also including a trio of tickets from the final season of Boston Garden and a trio of tickets from the inaugural season of the Fleer Center (now TD Garden) that are in good condition and show just light handling wear, the lot concludes with a complete set of ten (10) 1971-72 Boston Globe colour painting posters. All measuring approx. 21 1/4" x 14 1/4" and including the likes of; Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Johnny Bucyk, Dallas Smith, John McKenzie, Fred Stanfield, Ken Hodge, Ted Green, Derek Sanderson and Johnston/Cheevers. All largely in good condition, some light toning and foxing is seen throughout the group as well as some light corner and edge wear as well as the odd pin hole and/or small corner rip.
