This white air-knit jersey by CCM was worn by Probert in the early-1990s and has a Maska Air-Knit size XXL tag in the collar with the sweater measuring out to approximately a size 54. There are numerous marks on the sleeves and body of the jersey as well as numerous material snags/pulls, a pair of paint transfer marks on the right sleeve, with an additional one on the lower front hem, and a few small unrepaired cuts on the sleeves. The good amount of wear leads us to believe that these jerseys were indeed worn in multiple training camps by the Red Wings in the early-1990s, with the information provided by our consignor, who also provided photo references from stills of the Red Wings 1991 training camp video. There is a small sewing anomaly on the seam of the front right side of the collar (where the shoulder seam meets the collar) which is a small round bump where it should be smooth and this is showing on a close-up image of Probert but not high-resolution enough to call a definitive photo-match.
The front of the jersey has a heat-pressed rubberized team crest and the back has Probert's number "24" and his name heat-pressed directly onto the jersey in rubberized material as well. The lower back hem has a heat-pressed "CCM*" logo. The number "4" is signed "Bob Probert 24" in black marker and the autograph is overall nice and easily legible.
