A four-time Stanley Cup winner in 5 years, Bill Barilko will be forever immortalized as the prototypical modern hero, who’s famous accomplishment lives on despite his fleeting career and untimely passing. Originally obtained from a family member, we have Bill Barilko’s 1946-47 Stanley Cup Championship serving tray from his rookie season. At roughly 12” in diameter, the elegant keepsake features gorgeous scrollwork throughout, with centralized engraving that states in full “National Hockey League Stanley Cup Winners Season 1946-47 Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Club Ltd. William Barilko”. The underside stamping divulges its silver plate over copper construction, along with an English hallmark and “Sheffield Reproduction”. In beautiful condition overall, this highly desirable presentation piece exhibits excessive tarnishing which could be cleaned by the winning bidder if desired, but remains visually stunning as is with a rich vintage appearance.
