Awesome 1972-73 WHA Los Angeles Sharks game-worn jersey from the league and team’s inaugural season was worn by defenseman Bart Crashley. From Crashley’s personal collection, it has laundry-faded Goodman & Sons size 48 tagging in the hem. Impressive team crest sewn on the front is a triple twill affair with white thread embroidering for the shark’s eyes and teeth. Crashley, who broke into the NHL with Detroit, led Sharks defensemen with 45 points, which ranked third overall on the team. His leadership role is reflected in the alternate captain’s A sewn on the left breast. “Crashley” is spelled out in serif-style letters sewn directly onto the back. Game wear includes a team repair on the left elbow and a few marks and a board burn on the front tail. Comes with Bart Crashley's signed LOA.
There is a vintage garter-style fight strap sewn inside the back with zig-zag stitching that shows on the outside to the left of the middle of the black-red-and-white triple twill “7” sewn on the back. More game wear includes a burn mark to the right of the upper part of the number on the back, marks on both cuffs, and a diagonal mark on the left front tail.
