Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
The 1989-90 Oilers won the Clarence Campbell Bowl for the sixth time in eight seasons. Edmonton erased a 3-1 deficit to get past Winnipeg in the opening round before sweeping L.A. and beating Chicago in six to claim the conference title. This nicely preserved Campbell Bowl trophy presented to Oilers trainer Barrie Stafford has acquired a subtle golden patina. It stands 11" tall, including a six-sided wood base with a brown felt bottom. “Barrie Stafford – Athletic Trainer, Edmonton Oiilers 1989-90” is engraved on one side of the silver-plated cup with a removable lid. The name of the trophy and “1968”, its year of inception, are engraved on the other. Comes with Barrie Stafford’s signed LOA.
A few light scuffs on one side of the wood base, which stands a shade over 3” tall.
