This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
A five-time All-Star with Gold Glove and Silver Slugger awards under his belt, Andres Galarraga appeared for nine different MLB clubs, with the bulk of his career spent in Montreal, where he was especially popular. This Expos jersey was worn by the 1993 National League batting champion in 1987, a season that witnessed a .305 batting average with 90 RBIs and 13 home runs. A Rawlings label with “46” sizing is affixed to the collar, with a “46 87” size/date swatch and “2 inch extra length” tags placed adjacently. Featuring a tackle twill team crest with “Expos” placed beneath in individual red twill letters, “14” appears over the reverse and right breast in matching material, with “Galarraga” arching over the upper reverse. Exhibiting no unsightly wear or damage, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition.
