Suiting up for his native Russia at both the junior and senior levels a total of ten (10) times throughout his long career, Alexei Emelin would win a gold medal at the 2012 IIHF World Hockey Championships and skate in the 2014 Olympic Games on home soil in Sochi. Offered here, we present this Team Russia jersey worn by Emelin during the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. An Adidas made offering with a band displaying both "Made in Canada" and size "56" designations residing over the inner collar, both World Cup of Hockey and Adidas crests adorn the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front with a Team Russia crest that features textured and embroidered details throughout with "Russia" spelt out underneath in cyrillic, a 2016 World Cup of Hockey event patch has been placed over the left shoulder while an SAP sponsorship patch is displayed over the right one. Having had Emelin's number "74" sewn to the sleeves and verso in perforated single layer red twill numerals, "Emelin" is spelt out in matching single layer red twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate across the top of the back. Sporting a Fanatics hologram affixed to the fight strap on the interior with a serial number that states that the jersey was worn during the first period of play on September 19th against Team North America, the jersey shows just light game-wear, having been worn for a single period of play, via stick marks over both sleeves and some sweat staining throughout, especially at the cuffs. A set "2" offering with a black ink "2" penned to the fight strap, a Fanatics Authentics tag numbered "ECOH0973" has been added inside the rear hem.
