The fourth Grey Cup held in Calgary, the 97th playing of the the popular championship game featured the Montreal Alouettes battling the Saskatchewan Roughriders at McMahon Stadium, on November 29, 2009. With Saskatchewan leading 20-10 after the third quarter, the Alouettes fought back with 18 points in the fourth to seal a single point victory, 28-27. Adrian McPherson served as the backup quarterback to Anthony Calvillo in the game, and saw action in a single play. The right shank sports "McPherson" above and "5" below, with "2009" and an Alouettes logo centered, while the left shank features a large diamond inserted into a football above with the season record below, and the score of the game centered with "Win the day". "Intergold 10K" and "57+3" are stamped to the inner band. The ring shows good wear from use, with a number of scratches to the outer band and shanks and a few small dings along edges. Representing the 6th Grey Cup championship for the Alouettes franchise, this large and heavy keepsake displays magnificently.
