Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
A modern journeyman, playing for 6 different NHL clubs over approx 15 seasons, Aaron Asham was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens 71st overall in 1996. From his second of two seasons in Pennsylvania, we offer a photo-matched Penguins jersey worn by the Portage la Prairie native in 2011-12, specifically in 25 games from Oct 6, 2011 to Jan 15, 2012, with each listed on a JerseyTRAK document. A CCM label with 56 sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests gracing both the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the familiar Pens team crest with embroidered detailing, the “Set 1” V-neck has been finished with "45" in oversized and textured tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers. Pens equipment manager Dana Heinze has also signed the fight strap, which was torn and repaired, with the JerseyTRAK chip added along the top. Game-wear consists of a few marks over the front and sleeves along with team repairs, with six on the right sleeve, and one on the left. Getty Image #136029000 (December 16, 2011) has been matched to the large stick mark to the left of the bottom of the team crest. A COA from the Penguins will accompany along with the aforementioned JerseyTRAK document.
