Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
An important figure in Canadian hockey history, Wren Blair spent decades serving in many different capacities which included positions with the early Minnesota North Stars and Pittsburgh Penguins. From 1979 to 1985, Blair was the player personnel director for the Los Angeles Kings. From his personal collection, we have a 14K gold and diamond Kings necklace that most likely originates from Blair's time with the team. The pendant features a crown with inset diamonds with "Kings" set across, with the upper triangular-shaped portion filled with diamonds and stamped "14K". The chain itself is not gold but sterling silver. Displaying beautifully, the pendant doesn't show any condition issues.
