Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
Selected eighth overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, William Nylander has spent his entire career with the Maple Leafs at the time of this writing, seemingly getting better with each passing season and registering the first 40 goal campaign of his career in 2022-23. Hitting the 40 goal mark again in 2023-24 and having represented his home country on numerous occasions throughout his career, winning gold at the World Championships in 2017, a tournament he was named the MVP of, offered here is pair of gloves worn by Nylander as member of the Maple Leafs during the 2023-24 season. Sherwood made "Code Encrypt" model gauntlets in Toronto's familiar blue and white colourway, "Styles 88" and crosses have been embroidered into the outside of each in white thread. With just minimal game-wear being exhibited via some rubbing over each palm that is fairly even on both hands but a bit heavier in the left one, a couple of light red coloured marks also appear over the cuff of the right glove above the "H" in "Sher-Wood". With a couple of additional light marks over the exterior of both gloves, a Maple Leafs LOA will accompany the lot.
