Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
The greatest player to ever grace the ice of the National Hockey League and still holding a total of 58 records set by him during his career even 25 seasons after he retired from the game, Wayne Gretzky would win a boat load of individual awards over the course of his remarkable career and lead the Edmonton Oilers to four (4) Stanley Cup championships in the 1980s. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame immediately after hanging up the skates in 1999, offered here is this lot featuring a trio of tickets from milestone events during Wayne's career that date between 1989 and 1999. Including tickets from Wayne's first game in Los Angeles as a member of the Kings in 1989, the final All-Star Game of his career in 1999 and of course the gala of the 1999 Hockey Hall of Fame induction ceremony, all the tickets range in size from 5 1/2" x 2" at the smallest up to 7 1/2" x 3 1/2" at the largest, all the tickets display event, venue and date information and show light handling wear to the corners, surfaces and edges while a couple of light creases are also observed over the All-Star Game and Induction Gala tickets as well.
