Existing for a mere seven seasons, the impact of the WHA forever changed the game, with the league successfully challenging the NHL's reserve clause, allowing easier movement of players. The WHA also took the initiative to sign European players. Featuring the rebel league, we have a highly desirable puck collection of 35. Included, we have four 1975-77 Viceroy models (Stingers -2, Toros and Bulls), eleven 1972-75 Biltrite B2 pucks with large WHA logo (Nords, Crusadwers, Jets, Blazers, Aeros, Sharks, Racers, Toros, Saints, Golden Blades and Oilers), six 1973-74 Biltrite B2 pucks with Davidson reverse (Oilers, Toros, Blazers, Nords, Aeros and Whalers), four 1972-75 Biltrite B1 pucks with large WHA logo (Nords, Sharks, Cougars and Whalers), two 1974-75 Viceroy models (Stags and Toros), three 1974-75 Art Ross pucks (Saints - 2 different and Cougars), three 1974-75 CCM pucks (Roadrunners - 2 different and Crusaders), a 1972-73 Czech reverse Blazers puck and 1974-75 Art Ross blank reverse Saints puck.
The majority of the pucks show light to moderate wear with fairly clean logos, with a few pucks showing issues including the 1972-75 Biltrite B2 Nordiques puck with large WHA logo (heavy surface wear throughout), with the 1974-75 Art Ross Cougars (worn Converse logo) and Saints (surface residue over the logo side) pucks also showing minor issues.
