Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/4/2014
Now the head honcho of the Vancouver Canucks, Trevor Linden wore this Team Canada jersey in pre-tournament games leading up to the 1998 World Championships in Switzerland. Tagged in the collar as a "Bauer Pro" with a size "56" flap nearby, this gamer has the embroidered tackle twill Hockey Canada emblem sitting square on the chest with a flowing sublimated design at the waist, along with the double tackle-twill number "16" on the back and sleeves and an airknit nameplate holding the screened-on "Linden" lettering. Condition-wise sees a board burn on the right sleeve, a small nick on the back, the team crest shows puckering (and a touch on the back number), and some faint bleeding shows on the "Linden" lettering. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA.
Linden would notch a goal and 4 assists in 6 games at the '98 Worlds.
