Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Currently the only Major League Baseball team to call Canada home, the Toronto Blue Jays have owned a place in the American League since 1977 and lay claim to having won two World Series championships over the course of their history, coming in back-to-back years of 1992 and 1993. Offered here, we present this collection of Blue Jays memorabilia. Paced by both a jersey and cap signed by first game in franchise history starting pitcher Bill Singer, the jersey is made by Majestic and features sewn on twill crests and accents, including an MLB logo over the reverse neckline while size "L" labelling is heat pressed over the inner collar. In new-with-tags condition and styled over the reverse with "Singer" arched over the upper reverse in sewn on blue tackle twill letters above his number "48", Singer has signed through the "4" with a silver marker ink signature that displays without issue. Having had a AJ Sports hologram affixed to the signed number, a matching COA will accompany the piece. Additionally, joining the jersey is a retro throwback Blue Jays hat also signed by Singer. Made by New Era and tagged as being a size "7 3/8", the blue and white head covering features a 3D embroidered Blue Jays logo over the two (2) front panels and is signed by Singer over the bill with a silver marker ink signature that displays without issue and which includes inscriptions reading "First Pitch 4/7/77" in matching ink and condition. Also having had an AJ Sports hologram affixed, a matching COA is included as well. For the rest of the lot, included are Blue Jays yearbooks from 1977, 1979 and 1990 that are all in overall excellent condition and a game ticket from the 20th Opening Day in franchise history which is also in excellent condition overall.
