Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Team repairs and a photo match are featured with Tomas Sandstrom’s 1988-89 Rangers game-worn jersey with his surname stitched directly on the back. Sandstrom scored 32 goals and had a career-high 56 assists on his way to an 88-point season, one off the career high of 89 he set with the L.A. Kings in 1990-91. This white mesh beauty with Cosby tagging and a CCM flag tag in the neck is photo-matched by an included digital image to a number of marks on the front of the jersey, including a number of marks below the “E” in the cascading Rangers team name sewn on the front and to the mark below the number “2” on the left sleeve. Measuring out to roughly a size 54, this Sandstrom gamer from his last full season in New York has two team repairs on the back, pilling on the inside, a torn front collar seam, and black marks all over the front. From the personal collection of Tomas Sandstrom, this game-worn jersey will come with a Classic Auctions LOA.
