Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

A left-handed reliever throughout the 1970s with the Braves, Red Sox and Mariners, Tom House is also noteworthy for his prowess as a pitching coach, even working with a number of NFL quarterbacks including Tom Brady. This all original and unaltered Atlanta Braves jersey was worn by the Seattle native in 1973, his third season with the club. A date/set swatch of “44-73-Set 1” appears along the collar with removed tag, with “Braves” across the chest in dual-colour partially-embroidered twill, along with “26” on front and verso in matching material. Matching alternate crests also reside over each sleeve. The red colour within the identifiers has faded heavily, with thorough wear present pointing to subsequent use. An LOA will accompany.
