Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A three-time NL MVP and seven-time batting champion, HOFer Stan Musial also led his Cardinals to three World Series championships in five years, in 1942, 1944 and 1946. We have a Cards throwback jersey that was signed by the legendary hitter. Produced my Mitchell & Ness, a Cooperstown Collection label sits on the front left lower tail, with tagging along the collar. Styled with an attractive chain-stitched Cardinals team crest, the beige button-up also sports a felt “6” on verso, along with an American shield crest over the left sleeve. Musial has signed just below the left breast in blue marker adding his “The Man” moniker and “H.O.F. 1969”, with the signature displaying admirably. The jersey itself remains in beautiful condition, with an LOA to accompany.
