Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
Backstopping nine different NHL clubs throughout his lengthy career, Sean Burke has also represented Canada on the international stage, taking part in the Canada Cup, World Championships and Winter Olympics. From his final NHL season where he tended the net of the Los Angeles Kings for 23 games, we have a photo-matched Kings jersey worn by Burke in 2006-07. Size 60 tagging sits along the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with an attractive and textured Kings team crest and "Los Angeles" over the front band, the V-neck garment has been accented with layered sleeve and verso numbers, with alternate Kings crests over each shoulder. The jersey shows light use, with a few puck marks over the front and sleeves. There is also a couple small stains on the upper and lower right sleeve. Getty Image #73951579 (April 1, 2007) has been matched to the dark marks on the front of the jersey to the right of the team crest and beneath the front left shoulder. An LOA from the Kings will accompany.
