A veteran of 820 National Hockey League games throughout the course of his 18-year career in the league, Sean Burke would register a total of 324 wins in the NHL and suit up for Canada on numerous occasions as well, winning gold at the 1991 Canada Cup, 1997 and 2003 IIHF World Championships as well as silver at the 1992 Olympic Winter Games. Winning his first Stanley Cup in 2023 as the Director of Goaltending of the Vegas Golden Knights, offered here is this Coyotes third jersey worn by Burke during the 2001-02 season in which he went 33-21-6 in 60 games played to go along with a 2.29 GAA and a .920 save percentage. Made by Koho, both "Goalie Style" and partially washed out size "60" labels are affixed to the inner collar while a Koho logo patch is in place over the reverse neckline. Having had the NHL shield emblem embroidered into the reverse hem, the front of the jersey is decorated with a Coyotes alternate logo team crest that displays with embroidered details while matching alternate logo patches are in place atop of both shoulders. Presenting with a desert nightscape design over the lower front and reverse as well as the end of both sleeves, the sleeves and verso have been accented with Burke's number "1" in stacked tri-layer tackle twill numerals while "Burke" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Having had a Coyotes team patch sewn inside the reverse hem that denotes the jersey as being an "Official 2001/02-1 Game-Worn Jersey", the set #1 offering shows with just overall light game-wear via some minor puck marks through the front crest and on the inside of the left sleeve. Accompanied by a Coyotes LOA and a MeiGray COR while retaining its original fight strap on the interior, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #654570 (March 22nd, 2002 vs Anaheim) to the puck mark in the cream portion of the team crest.
