Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Starting his second stint in Florida with the Panthers in 2013-14, Roberto Luongo would finish out his career with the club, playing parts of his final six seasons in The Sunshine State. From the 2016-17 NHL season, we have a pair of photo-matched pads worn by the HOF netminder - with this specific type of model only worn this season. CCM Premier models by Lefevre in solid white with red and gold accents, "Luongo" is embroidered to each pad in red, with "12-6" handwritten in marker to the left pad, and Kay Whitmore has signed the underside of the pad with a notation in his role as goaltending supervisor of the NHL. Nice game-use is shown on the pair including a number of puck marks covering each front, with additional wear to the inside top sections of each pad as well as small areas of red paint transfer. Getty Images #639824674 (January 24, 2017) and #633216584 (January 31, 2017) have both been matched to a number of marks on the front of each pad. A COA from the Panthers will accompany.
