The first pick in the 2000 NHL Draft, Rick DiPietro became the first goalie taken No. 1 overall when he was selected by the New York Islanders. DiPietro’s Islanders game-worn jersey is from the Islanders’ white second season set in 2003-04, when he went 23-18-5 with a 2.36 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage while recording five shutouts. Black marks on the front of the jersey include a big diagonal one on the right front tail above the blue stripe and marks at the top of the NY on the team crest. Size 60 and Goalie Style flag tags hang in the back of the collar. More black marks are displayed on both sleeves along with red goalpost paint transfer and pilling on the sleeve cuffs. Cutting Edge Sports Set #2 New York Islanders 2003-04 team patch is sewn inside the rear tail. The jersey is photo-matched to a number of marks including the ones on the team's crest. Comes with an LOA.
